Cream tea in the garden

The Seasons menu is very varied and you’re sure to be spoilt for choice. As well as the famous real Devon cream tea, there is a whole host of other delicious treats to choose from. Along with the plain and fruit scones you sometimes will find ginger scones - all home made of course.


The lunch menu has a choice of delicious soups, perfect for a satisfying snack or a substantial meal.

If you don’t like soup then try a steak baguette with salad, cottage pie with roasted vegetables, a jacket potato with a choice fillings or one of Jenny’s specialities West Country rarebit, made with cheddar cheese and cider, with a real poached egg on top.

Don’t fancy that? What about one of these?

  • Grilled avocado with Devon blue cheese on toast.
  • Devilled mushrooms, even soft roes or sardines on toast.
  • Brie with apple sauce or bacon or red currant jelly on crumpets.
  • Ploughman’s lunch with ham or cheese.

Chicken fricassee, quiche and salad, salad Nicoise, smoked salmon salad, farm ham and poached eggs, proper free range, pate on warm toast, smoked haddock fish cakes, BLT


Luxury ice cream pie
Sticky toffee pudding, lemon sponge, Jaffa sponge and chocolate sauce, meringues with fruit, sorbets, real Devon farm ice cream, cheese and biscuits.


Tea, coffee and other drinks

The tea is specially blended leaf, Assam and Ceylon, the best in England.
The coffee is high quality, freshly made cafétierre.
Hot Chocolate with whipped cream
Don’t miss Jenny’s home made lemon juice, it’s just like your Grandma used to make.
Real natural apple juice, coke, orange.

While you’re here don’t miss the award winning herbal tea, Earl Grey, Darjeeling leaf.

Seasons menu is also complemented by being fully licensed offering very good local Otter beers, wines etc. lagers.
